DAILY DOSE: BIALETTI HOMAGE
Daily Dose Records is a local Melbourne record label ran by hip hop producer 8th Dan who recently pressed a 7” record with Buffalo, New York, underground rapper Elcamino. In this project the Daily Dose brand has paid homage to the classic Italian coffee company Bialetti through the structure of their brand-mark typeface and cartoon character.
The concept was conceived by the producer 8th Dan and was executed by Jourdan through custom typeface construction and the vectorisation of the comic character that was originally drawn by 8th Dan.
